Changing Order Type in OEET
This procedure demonstrates how to change the order type of a sales order after it has already been started.
HINTS:
1) Order type change is limited to Stock Orders, Counter Sales and Quotes.
2) If the order or quote had been finished, you cannot Maintain the order to do this process.
3) If the order has already been FINISHED, it is best to either: 1) copy and convert the original order 2) enter a new order.
4) If it is recognized during the initial entry that the order is the wrong order type, it can be changed. Typically, this situation happens when a Stock Order was started but it was supposed to be a Quote. Alternately, a Quote was started but supposed to be a Stock Order.
