NOTE: Clicking <NEW> will add an additional Bin Locations beyond the Primary (#1) and Secondary (#2).
Adding more than 2 bin locations is not advised but could be necessary.
Bin Location Format is:
XX/YY/ZZZ/000
XX = Aisle
YY = Section
ZZZ = Shelf
Bin Location Advice:
Shelf 1 should be the floor or lowest level possible. DO NOT use spaces or special characters!
EXAMPLE: 03/FF/002
3rd aisle
6th section (F = 6th letter in the alphabet)
2nd shelf from bottom
- Enter <Warehouse #>
- Enter product # or search for item.
- Click <Search>
- If just updating Bin 1 or 2, type in the grid the updated bin location and press enter to update it on the product record. In CSD, you no longer need to drill into the product record to update bin location #1 and #2 as both can be updated from the grid.
5. If trying to update additional Bin Locations other than 1 and 2, click the arrow to drill into the product on the grid and then select the New button under Additional Bin Locations.
6. In the Additional Bin Locations pop up, enter the Additional Bin Location and press OK.
7. Back on the Entry Bin Details screen, select the Save option in the top right to save the additional Bin Locations.
