Tracking Information to Receiving Branch
When the shipment is processed in the UPS application:
In Section 4 – How would you like to ship
Select Send E-mail notifications
Once the first page is complete and you proceed with the shipment, an Additional Shipping Options page will appear.
Enter the receiving branch’s email and check ship
This will send the receiving branch an email directly from UPS with the tracking number.
There is no need to put the tracking information on the transfer in Sx.e.
However, this assumes that the tracking number is sent via UPS when processing the shipment.
When in doubt an extra breadcrumb trail can be helpful - note usage is an option.
