Setting Up Restricted Use Items
Address: ICSPR
Menu: Product>Setup>Product Restriction
Enter the appropriate <Warehouse> and <Product>
Click <SEARCH> to verify that this warehouse/item combination has not already been activated
Click <NEW> to add the Restricted Item
Restriction Type: Appropriate Product
Start Date: Current Date
Warehouse: Appropriate Warehouse
Restriction Code: Select the appropriate code
Status Code: Not Allowed
Expired Date: <Leave Blank>
Active: Check
Certification/License Required: Uncheck
All Restriction Override: Check
Click <SAVE>
Once the record has been setup for one warehouse the Copy Function can be leveraged to create the same restricted item for other warehouses.

Menu: Product>Setup>Product Restriction
Enter the Restricted item to copy.
Click <SEARCH>
Check the box next to the item to copy
Click <COPY>
Update the Warehouse accordingly
Click <OK>
Click <SAVE>
A record must exist for every Product/Branch combination that this item is restricted.
